Why should I use the Bigfoot Directory to find people?
Finding Family, Friends, and Colleagues has never been easier! With the Internet's largest, most accurate collection of e-mail addresses and U.S. "white page" listings, Bigfoot is proud to help bring all netizens together, one search at a time. The Directory is growing daily, and as it continues to get bigger, finding who you're looking for will be that much easier. Our database is compiled from individual users and from publicly accessible information, while our "white page" data is provided by Acxiom.
If all you know is the name of the person that you are searching for then you can either enter that information (first and last) in the Search box on the Bigfoot Find People Page. If you have more information than just the name of the person you're looking for, you can narrow down the scope of your search by adding CITY and STATE for United States search results. Finally, you have a choice to see either white page results, email address results, or both.

When I did my search, I got too many matching entries, why?
If the list of people you get back is too broad (for instance, entering "John Smith" will give you HUNDREDS of listings), try going back to Find People, and enter as much information as you can regarding the person you're looking for in the fields provided. The more fields you complete, the more quickly you'll get a result. Doing an advanced search can narrow down the returns on a search DRAMATICALLY.
I was looking for someone and couldn't find them, what's up?
It could be one of several things: a) The person doesn't have an e-mail address and is consequently not listed in our e-mail database. b) The person has an e-mail address but has not yet become a part of the Bigfoot Directory. c) The person is a part of the Bigfoot Directory, but has decided to become an unlisted member at this time. As well, you'll note that you can search for someone's "white page" information in the same way that you'd search for an e-mail address. You might find the person you're looking for in our e-mail directory, but that person does not necessarily have to have a corresponding "white page" listing, and vice versa. The two are completely different systems and are exclusive. If you find them in one, don't assume they'll be in the other.
